We Simply Adore

The views are simply jaw dropping. From The Executive Suite you will enjoy the unbelievable panoramic view of the entire London Skyline. During the day the whole of Hyde Park can be seen from this vantage point; the manicured gardens, the Princess Diana Memorial, and the Serpentine Gallery are all visible from the comfort of your suite. Upon returning in the evening, draw up the remote control window shades, and a whole different perspective will appear before your eyes. To see the bright lights of London outlining one of the most famous skylines in the world is simply magical.

Note To Self

If you’re flying into Heathrow Airport, consider purchasing an Oyster card from the tube station located within the airport. With the Oyster card you can take the above ground train, called The Heathrow Express, straight to Lancaster Gate Station, which is a short walk from The Royal Lancaster. The entire journey should only take about 26 minutes. Speaking of transportation, you should definitely try out London’s mytaxi, a ride sharing app that uses England’s iconic Black Cabs but is a much more economical option.

Get the Dish

The Island Grill is the perfect place for a romantic dinner for two. Though the restaurant atmosphere is cool and casual, the service is nothing short of a fine dining experience. The well-informed staff is very knowledgeable of the menu and can provide great dish recommendations to please any palette. All ingredients used at The Island Grill are locally sourced and seasonal, keeping the menu fresh and exiting at all times. If you’re dining in early spring, the Braised Short Rib entree paired with your favorite red wine is a particularly delicious dish. This restaurant delivers on all fronts and really does justice to the beautiful hotel it lies within.

Our stay at the Royal Lancaster was a once in a lifetime experience. From the moment we arrived we were treated as if we were members of The Royal Family. The glamorous décor and extravagant amenities have put this hotel at the top of our list for places to stay in London. The ultra chic rooms are fully furnished in every modern luxury imaginable, including an American sized electrical outlet in case you forget your adaptor. At The Royal Lancaster the views are incredible, the service is impeccable, and your stay will be unforgettable.
